This paper attempts to shed some light on current biopolitics of food and environmental security by analyzing the strategy Integrated pest management (IPM). IPM is an ecological form that emerged in United States 1950s response pesticide crisis now informs numerous legislations around world. The analyzes as a governmental hinge aims reconcile conflicting goals security. To this end, makes three intertwined arguments. First, through examination scientific texts from field economic entomology, shows how biological chemical control methods are produced two materialities must be mediated.
